Named GP for all patients

As many of you already know Dr Sutton will be retiring as of the 31st March this year.
We are currently working extremely hard to ensure all Patients previously registered with him will have a new named GP by the 1st April.

We have some new GP’s joining us over the next few months, some of whom you may have seen working with us recently as a Locum, and we are extremely happy to welcome Dr Bashforth back on board on a permanent basis.

All patients will be notified upon contacting the surgery as from 1st April onwards who their Named GP is, and on what days they will be available for appointments. Unfortunately, we are unable to notify patients in writing of any change of GP due to the costs involved.

Please contact reception for further detail.

*patients will be assigned to GP’s using the clinical computer systems automatic allocation.
If you are unhappy with the choice of GP that is allocated to you please put in writing why you would like to change your named GP and the practice will review any requests and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your preference, recognising that there are occasions when the practice may not feel the patient’s preference is suitable.

Dr Stott and Dr Knight do not have capacity to take on more patients at this time therefore they will not be increasing their registered patient lists.

Thank you
Staunton Surgery
